Edukali AI Tutor

Edukali is your immersive AI classroom — an AI teacher and simulated classmates who work through topics with you, with speech, a shared whiteboard, pop quizzes, and project-based learning.

note

Edukali replaces the earlier single-turn AI Tutor. If your organization hasn't turned it on yet, ask your administrator to enable the Edukali AI Tutor feature toggle.

What You Can Do

  • Ask anything — concepts, problem-solving steps, worked examples.
  • Learn by voice — talk to the tutor, listen to explanations hands-free.
  • See it on the board — diagrams, derivations, and equations render on a live whiteboard.
  • Take pop quizzes — Edukali checks your understanding as you go.
  • Work on projects — multi-step tasks the tutor guides you through over a whole session.

Opening Edukali

You can open Edukali three ways, and each brings the right context with it:

  1. Sidebar → Tutor — start a general classroom, pick any topic.
  2. "Ask Edukali" on any question — opens a session seeded with that question, subject, and grade.
  3. Practice / adaptive report — launch from a result page to drill the concepts you missed.

Getting Good Answers

Be specific and supply context:

  • ❌ "Help with math"
  • ✅ "Explain how to factorize x² + 5x + 6"
  • ❌ "I don't understand"
  • ✅ "Why is option B correct in this velocity question?"

Follow-ups ("explain that again", "give me another example", "quiz me") are what Edukali is built for — keep the conversation going.

Session History

Every session is saved with its topic and the question it started from (if any). Your recent sessions show on the Edukali landing page so you can pick up where you left off.

Privacy & Responsible Use

  • Conversations are private to you — teachers and parents don't see transcripts.
  • Usage counts against your organization's AI budget.
  • Edukali is a learning partner, not a homework machine. Use it to understand, not to copy.

Troubleshooting

"Edukali AI Tutor is disabled" — your admin hasn't turned on the feature. Ask them to enable it.

"Preparing classroom…" never finishes — check your connection, then refresh. If it persists, tell your teacher so they can check AI usage limits.

The tutor gives a wrong answer — Edukali can make mistakes. Verify important facts with your textbook or teacher and use the report button in the session.
