How do I take an exam?​

  1. Log in to Testify
  2. Go to "My Exams"
  3. Click "Start Exam"
  4. Answer questions
  5. Submit before time ends

Can I pause an exam?​

No, once started, the timer continues. Complete in one sitting.

What if I lose internet during exam?​

Your answers are auto-saved. Reconnect quickly and continue. Contact your teacher if you lost significant time.

When will I get my results?​

  • MCQ/Auto-graded - Immediately after submission
  • Subjective - After teacher grades (usually 2-3 days)

Can I review my answers after exam?​

Yes! After submission, you can:

  • See your responses
  • Check correct answers
  • Read explanations

How do I use the AI Tutor?​

Click the AI Tutor icon and ask questions in natural language. AI provides explanations and help.

Technical Questions​

What browsers are supported?​

Recommended browsers:

What internet speed do I need?​

Minimum 2 Mbps recommended. For video proctoring, 5 Mbps or higher.

Do I need a webcam?​

Only for proctored exams. Regular exams don't require webcam.

Can I use mobile phone?​

Yes, but desktop/laptop recommended for better experience, especially for exams.

Is my data secure?​

Yes! We use:

  • SSL encryption
  • Secure servers
  • Regular backups
  • Privacy compliance

Can I use Testify offline?​

No, internet connection required. However, answers auto-save if connection drops briefly.

What happens if time runs out?​

Exam auto-submits. All answered questions are saved.

Can I change answers after submitting?​

No, submission is final and cannot be changed.

What is proctoring?​

AI-powered monitoring during exams to ensure fairness. Uses webcam and screen monitoring.

Is there negative marking?​

Depends on exam settings. Teacher decides if negative marking applies.

Can I use calculator during exam?​

If teacher enables it, calculator will be available in exam interface.

What if a question has an error?​

Note the question number and inform teacher after exam. They can review and adjust marks.

AI Features​

How accurate is AI-generated content?​

AI is 85-95% accurate. Always review AI-generated questions before using.

What are credits?​

Credits are used for AI features:

  • Question generation
  • PDF extraction
  • AI tutoring

How do I get more credits?​

  • Free tier: 50 credits/month
  • Purchase credit packs
  • Upgrade to paid plan

Can AI generate questions in my language?​

Currently: English, Hindi, Bengali. More languages coming soon.

What if AI generates wrong information?​

Always review AI output. Edit or delete incorrect content. Report serious issues to support.

Account & Billing​

How do I reset my password?​

  1. Click "Forgot Password" on login page
  2. Enter your email
  3. Check email for reset link
  4. Create new password

How do I change my email?​

Go to "Settings" → "Profile" → Update email address.

How do I upgrade my plan?​

Go to "Billing" → "Upgrade Plan" → Choose plan → Make payment.

Can I cancel my subscription?​

Yes, anytime. Go to "Billing" → "Cancel Subscription". Access continues until period ends.

Do you offer refunds?​

Refunds available within 7 days of purchase if no credits used. Contact support.

Can I get invoice for payment?​

Yes! Download invoice from "Billing" → "Invoices".

PDF upload failing​
