Organization Analytics

Monitor your organization's performance with dashboards, subject analytics, teacher comparisons, and exportable reports.

Overview

Organization Analytics gives Org Admins a comprehensive view of how their institution is performing. Track student results, compare teacher effectiveness, identify subject-level strengths and weaknesses, and monitor trends over time. All analytics are scoped to your organization's tenant, ensuring data privacy.

Grade Distribution

The system calculates grades based on average percentage:

GradePercentage Range
A+90% and above
A80% - 89%
B+70% - 79%
B60% - 69%
C50% - 59%
D40% - 49%
FBelow 40%
  1. Navigate to "Analytics" > "Trends"
  2. View a monthly trend chart showing:
    • Average score per month
    • Number of exams per month
  3. Identify upward or downward trends in organizational performance

Performance Trends

Tip: A declining trend may indicate that exam difficulty is increasing or that students need additional support. Cross-reference with subject analytics to identify specific areas of concern.

Subject-Wise Analytics

Break down performance by subject to identify strengths and areas for improvement.

Viewing Subject Performance

  1. Go to "Analytics" > "Subject Analytics"
  2. The subject breakdown shows for each subject:
    • Total questions attempted
    • Number correct and wrong
    • Accuracy percentage
    • Number of exams covering this subject

Identifying Weak Subjects

Subjects with accuracy below 50% are flagged as weak areas. These are candidates for:

  • Additional teaching resources
  • Extra practice assignments
  • Targeted AI-generated practice questions
  • Teacher support and training

Subject Comparison Chart

A bar chart compares accuracy across all subjects, making it easy to spot subjects that need attention at a glance.

Tip: Share subject analytics with department heads so they can adjust their teaching strategies for low-performing subjects.

Teacher Comparison Analytics

Compare teacher effectiveness across classes and subjects.

Accessing Teacher Analytics

  1. Go to "Analytics" > "Teacher Comparison"
  2. The comparison view shows for each teacher:
    • Number of exams published
    • Average student score across their exams
    • Student participation rate
    • Number of questions created

Teacher Dashboard Data

Each teacher has access to their own dashboard showing:

  • Classes Managed -- list of classes with student counts
  • Active Exams -- currently running exams
  • Pending Grading -- submissions awaiting manual grading
  • Student Performance -- aggregate scores for their classes

Class-Level Comparison

  1. Select a teacher to view their class-level analytics
  2. Compare performance across the teacher's different classes:
    • Average score per class
    • Participation rates per class
    • Score distribution within each class

Teacher Comparison

Class Analytics

Per-Class Performance

  1. Go to "Analytics" > "Class Analytics"
  2. Select a class from the dropdown
  3. View:
    • Class average score
    • Top-performing and bottom-performing students
    • Exam-by-exam results
    • Participation rates

Section Comparison

If a class has multiple sections:

  1. Select the class
  2. The section comparison shows:
    • Average score per section
    • Student count per section
    • Participation rates per section

This helps identify sections that may need additional support or resources.

Student-Level Analytics

Individual Student Report

  1. Go to "Analytics" > "Student Analytics"
  2. Search for or select a student
  3. View their comprehensive report:
    • All exam attempts with scores, ranks, and timestamps
    • Average percentage across all exams
    • Highest and lowest scores
    • Subject-wise performance breakdown
    • Performance trend (last 10 exams)
    • Grade based on average percentage

Student Ranking

For each exam, the analytics show:

  • The student's rank among all participants
  • Total number of participants
  • How the student compares to the class average

Tip: Use individual student reports during parent-teacher meetings to provide data-driven feedback on student progress.

At-Risk Student Detection

Testify's teacher enhancement features include early warning for at-risk students.

How It Works

  1. Teachers access "Class" > "Detect At-Risk Students"
  2. The system analyzes:
    • Students with declining performance trends
    • Students with consistently low scores (below class average)
    • Students with poor attendance (missing multiple exams)
  3. At-risk students are flagged with recommended interventions

What Org Admins Can See

  1. Go to "Analytics" > "At-Risk Overview"
  2. View a count of at-risk students per class
  3. Drill down to see individual student details
  4. Monitor whether interventions are improving performance

Assignment Completion Tracking

Viewing Assignment Status

  1. Go to "Analytics" > "Assignments"
  2. View completion rates across all active assignments:
    • Total students assigned
    • Students who have completed
    • Students who have not started
    • Average time to completion

Per-Exam Completion

  1. Select an exam from the list
  2. View:
    • Which students have submitted
    • Which students have not attempted
    • Average score for submitted attempts
    • Time distribution

Tip: Follow up with students who have not completed assigned exams before the deadline. Use the notification system to send reminders.

Best Practices

Regular Monitoring

  1. Review the organization dashboard weekly to catch performance dips early
  2. Check subject analytics monthly to identify subjects needing attention
  3. Review teacher comparison quarterly for professional development planning
  4. Monitor at-risk students continuously and intervene promptly

Data-Driven Decisions

  1. Use subject analytics to allocate teaching resources and training
  2. Use teacher comparison data for mentoring and support (not punitive measures)
  3. Share class analytics with teachers so they can adjust their approach
  4. Use trend data to set realistic performance targets

Reporting

  1. Export monthly summary reports for school management
  2. Use individual student reports during parent-teacher meetings
  3. Share subject analytics with department heads
  4. Archive exported reports for year-over-year comparison

Troubleshooting

Analytics Showing Zero Data

  • Verify exams have been created, published, and assigned
  • Check that students have submitted exam attempts
  • Ensure the date range includes the period when exams were taken
  • Confirm you are viewing analytics for the correct organization

Scores Not Matching Expectations

  • Verify exam grading is complete (check for pending manual grading)
  • Ensure all exam attempts have been submitted (not still in progress)
  • Check if the exam has negative marking enabled, which affects scores

Export Not Working

  • Check your browser's download permissions
  • Ensure pop-up blockers are not preventing the download
  • Try a different export format (CSV vs. PDF)
  • For large datasets, the export may take a few seconds to generate

Teacher Comparison Inaccurate

  • Ensure teachers are properly assigned to their classes
  • Verify that exams are attributed to the correct teacher (created by)
  • Check that the comparison period includes sufficient exam data
